Havana, April 24 (RHC)-- Cuba is getting ready for huge celebrations to commemorate International Workers' Day on May 1st. With just one week away from the big May Day celebrations, labor unions and other organizations across the island are preparing for parades and marches.
In Havana, the Cuban capital, the Jose Marti Revolution Square is getting ready to hosts hundreds of thousands of participants in the parade, set to begin ready next Monday morning. And according to an article in this morning's edition of Trabajadores, plazas and parks throughout the island are putting the final touches on their preparations.
The national and local offices of the Confederation of Cuban Workers, the CTC, are concentrating on outlining the organizational details of the mobilizations that will take place on International Workers' Day.
