Ulan Bator, June 23 (RHC)-- Cuba and Mongolia signed Thursday an agreement in the field of education that provides for mutual recognition of university study programs, degrees and post graduate studies.
The accord was penned in Ulan Bator, Mongolia's capital and largest city, by Mongolian Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Gelegpil Chuluunbaatar, and Cuba's ambassador to this landlocked sovereign state in East Asia, Raúl Delgado.
The Cuban diplomat said the agreement allows young Mongolian graduates from Cuban universities to fully, immediately validate their degrees back home. As part of existing cooperation agreements, Cuba has trained more than 160 Mongolian professionals in different fields.
