Havana, April 23 (RHC) – Homero Acosta Álvarez, Secretary of the State Council, welcomed Alexander V. Koniuk, Attorney General of the Republic of Belarus, who is visiting Cuba to review the implementation of a cooperation agreement in the legal field signed between the two countries.
Granma newspaper reports that the meeting on Tuesday afternoon took place in a friendly atmosphere, and issues such as increased bilateral consultations and training cooperation were addressed.
The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in Cuba, Vladzimir Astapenka, and on the Cuban side by Marlén Fernández Machado, deputy attorney general.
During his stay in Cuba, the distinguished visitor met with Dario Delgado Cura, Attorney General of the Republic of Cuba, and the Board of Directors of that body.
