Singers and popular bands from Cuba and Venezuela will hold the concert ‘Soneros’ United for Venezuela in the Cuban capital tomorrow.
The concert will be at the Benny Moré Hall of La Tropical Gardens on Sunday as of 4 p.m. as a gesture of support for constitutional Venezuelan President, Nicolás Maduro, and the National Constituent Assembly the Bolivarian and other forces are encouraging to bring peace to the South American country.
With free admission, the music gathering is scheduled to include Venezuelan ‘soneros’ Ángel Flores and Luis España, and Cuba’s Raúl Torres, and other musical groups, orchestras and bands, such as Septeto Habanero, Cuban Soneros All Star, Yoruba Andabo, Espectacular Habana, Son Yoruba, El Noro y Primera Clase, Azúcar Negra and La Charanga Latina. Other bands on hand from the island will be Caribe Girls, Yumurí y sus hermanos, Los Chicos Latinos, along with Cuban actors, Alberto Joel García and Leidis Díaz, and others.
Organized by the Brigade of Venezuelan residents in Cuba, the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas –ALBA-, the Venezuelan embassy to Cuba, PDVSA Cuba, the Cuban Music Institute and the island’s art sales company – Artex-, the concert is part of the initiative “A ‘son’ For Peace”, aimed at promoting Latin American solidarity and unity against right-wing attempts to destroy the gains of Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela.
