Acosta Danza, a company founded and directed by Cuban dancer Carlos Acosta, is currently on a tour of the United Kingdom with presentations in several UK cities until April 11.

The Cuban dance troupe was invited by the Dance Consortium, an association of 20 major theaters, seeking to take the best of international choreographic art to that European country.

The tour includes presentation in the cities of Southampton, Cardiff, Bradford, Brigthon, Canterbury, Salford, Plymouth, Newcastle and Nottingham.

A British newspaper has written: "from the moment that ballet superstar Carlos Acosta called our attention to his new Cuban company, a little more than four years ago, it was clear he had chosen the best among Cuba's excellent dancers.”

Since its founding in 2015, Acosta Danza’s shows have been fully in tune with the most current trends being developed in the world, not only in terms of body movement, but in all aspects related to performing and staging art.
