Cuba’s orchestra Leonardo Diago y la Nueva Era has released a new song as a tribute to Cuban health professionals, who are on the frontlines fighting the Covid-19 pandemic on the island and around the world.

Mensajeros de la Fe (Messengers of Faith) is the title of the new danceable, popular tune, with lyrics that reflect the language of today’s Cuban youth.

Director Leonardo Diago said their gratitude extends equally to all those who are providing other non-health essential services in these difficult times, thus contributing to the all-of-society approach to the deadly disease.

Leonardo Diago y la Nueva Era belongs to the catalog of the Benny Moré music company. It is an ensemble formed by 14 young, talented musicians, all of them graduates from Cuban art schools.

The new song is already available on social media and the main digital platforms, including the YouTube channel of the Cuban Ministry of Culture and a network of more than 100 Facebook pages.
