Liuba premieres music video for 'Señor Arcoiris'
Havana, Feb.21 (RHC) -- Cuban singer-songwriter Liuba María Hevia has premiered the music video for her tune ‘Señor Arcoíris’, included in her anthological album ‘Travesía Mágica’, which has marked the childhood of several Cuban generations.
The music video by the Animation Studios of the Cuban Film Institute (ICAIC), is a tribute to Liuba and also to poet, composer, sculptor and painter, the late Ada Elba Pérez, their vast creative work dedicated to children.
Liuba thanked ICAIC and all those involved.
During the presentation of the music video, Liuba, named ambassador of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), offered detailed information on the Project ‘Almas creadoras’, where she shares with other female singer-songwriters from across Cuba and the world.
Liuba pointed also to a new show streamed on digital platforms entitled ‘Crónicas de viaje’, where she offers detailed information on her albums, the story behind each and every tune, the creative and production process, as well as the recording sessions. She explained that the idea emerged from some Friends here in Cuba and in Argentina.
Liuba María Hevia will give a concert in Spain, in the framework of the premiere there of a documentary film on Spanish migration to Cuba, specially from the Canary Islands, by Cuban actress and filmmaker Blanca Rosa Blanco.
