The new contemporary dance company Los Hijos del Director (the Director’s Sons) will stage La Tribulación de Anaximandro (Hombre, Arche, Apeiron) at the emblematic Martí Theater in Old Havana over the weekend.
The dance troupe, directed by award-winning Cuban choreographer and dancer, George Céspedes, is set to stage the Tribulation of Anaximander, an interesting proposal based on key concepts of classical Greek philosophy. A new vision of arts is one of the objectives of the new dance ensemble, which has become a genuine center for choreographic experimentation, mold- breaking and an interactive dialogue with current contemporary dance trends.
