Lima, July 31 (RHC) – Cuban Osleni Guerrero has been eliminated from the Men´s Singles badminton tournament in 2019 Lima Pan-Am Games.
Guerrero was defeated by Canadian Brian Yang in three games 10-21, 21-15 and 13-21 in the Quarter-Finals. Guerrero still has two more chances of winning a gold for Cuba since he advanced in Men´s Doubles with teammate Leodannis Martinez and in the Mixed Doubles, discipline in which he teams up with Taymara Oropesa.
Oropesa, who has advanced to the Quarter-Finals in Women´s Singles, also shares court with Yeily Ortiz in Women´s Doubles.
