Havana, September 25 (RHC)-- Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will host Montpellier at the Parc des Princes today with their sights set on their eighth consecutive victory in French soccer's Ligue 1.
Coach Mauricio Pochettino's Rouge et Bleu will play at home in matchday eight with several absentees, including star Argentine striker Lionel Messi, who is recovering from a knee injury and is also a doubt for Tuesday's Champions League match against Manchester City.
The Parisian team will also be without Spaniards Sergio Ramos and Juan Bernat and Italian Marco Verratti, while the visitors will be without key players such as striker Andy Delort.
Tonight's match will see PSG arrive with a comfortable seven-point lead over Olympique de Marseille in the young competition, in which Montpellier is in tenth place with two wins, three draws and two defeats.
This Saturday will also see Olympique de Lyon - Lorient, Strasbourg - Lille and Saint Etienne - Nice, a match day that will continue tomorrow with six matches.
