Havana, July 25 (JIT) - Arley Calderon added to Cuba's medal haul in the first day of the Pan American Weightlifting Championship of Bogota 2022, in Colombia.
In the 61 kg division, the Cuban won silver medals in the repulsion and total, which are added to the pair of bronze medals won earlier by his compatriot Osmel Argote in the 55 kg.
Calderon finished fourth in the snatch with 117 kg.
The competition will continue this Monday, but Cuba will have no competitors.
