Havana, September 12 (RHC) - The technical and emotional leader of the young Italian team that won the title at the Men's Volleyball World Championship, setter Simone Giannelli, was named Most Valuable Player of the 20th edition of the tournament, which ended on Sunday in Katowice, Poland.
Giannelli, 26, was one of three Italian players selected for the event's Dream Team, which also included three players from runner-up Poland and one from bronze medalist Brazil.
