Havana, February 4 (RHC)-- The president of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation of Cuba (INDER), Osvaldo Vento Montiller, completed the objectives of his working visit to Mexico, from where he travels today to Venezuela.

"Fulfilled the objectives of the visit," he wrote on Twitter after covering an extensive agenda, whose conclusive date included a tour of the headquarters of the Mexican Sports Confederation.

"It is easy to notice the spirit of solidarity and unity of the work led by its president Francisco Cabezas," said the executive, who had previously highlighted his approach to the National High Performance Center.

In the Mexican capital, the head of Inder had a dialogue with technicians of the Island hired there, and appealed to the telephone in order to add those who work in other states.

Vento was received by the president of the Mexican Olympic Committee, María José Alcalá Izguerra, to whom he conveyed the greetings of his Cuban counterpart Roberto León Richards as part of a session in which they reviewed issues of mutual interest.

The excellent atmosphere prevailing in these contacts extended to his conversation with Israel Francisco Benítez Morteo, deputy director of quality for sport of the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sport.

The program also allowed him to talk with the Cuban diplomatic mission and other actors who are willing to contribute to the will to strengthen relations in this field.

This Saturday he will arrive in Venezuela, where he will have as first activity a meeting with the president of the Professional Baseball League, Giuseppe Palmisano, and will attend the game between Agricultores-Leones de Caracas, corresponding to the 65th Gran Caracas 2023 Caribbean Baseball Series.
