Havana, August 4 (RHC)-- Cuban judoka Arnaes Odelin lost Friday to French Priscilla at the start of the World Masters in Budapest.

The top-level competition will be attended by 432 athletes -227 men and 205 women- from 56 countries, selected by world ranking (RM).

According to the website www.ijf.org, Arnaes lost by Wazari in pool B against Priscilla, the London 2012 Olympic title holder, in a close fight decided when the clock reached eight minutes and 59 seconds, with a positive balance for the gala, two Wazaris for one, and two warnings -Shidos- for each of them.

Priscilla finally finished in fifth place -she disputed the bronze-, in a podium led by Canada's Jessica Klimkatt (gold), escorted by France's Sarah Lennie Cysique (silver) and Japan's Haruka Funnakubo (bronze) and Ukraine's Daria Bilodid (bronze).

Japan leads so far the medal table with three gold and two bronze medals, followed by France (1-1-0) and Canada (1-0-0), the three nations owning the four gold medals in dispute today, with stage at the Papp Lázló Arena in Budapest.

Cuba is also attending the World Masters with Maylín del Toro, in the 63 kg, Magdiel Estrada (73 kg), Iván Silva (90 kg) and Andy Granda (90 kg).
