Santiago de Chile, October 25 (RHC) -- World champion and Olympic runner-up, Marileidy Paulino, celebrates her 27th birthday this Wednesday training in Santiago de Chile, where she will run the 200m and the 4x100 relay in track and field.
Friendly, cordial and with a sweet smile in front of every question, the Dominican athlete talked about her goals in the games and her long term plans.
In her training she always has Cuba in mind, an island she has already visited once for training. The man who has led her to glory is a Cuban, Yaseen Perez Gomez.
