Havana, December 23 (JIT)--  INTER President Osvaldo Vento Montiller yesterday congratulated Cuban educators, especially those who work in the Cuban Sports System.

"They are the cornerstone of our work and deserve permanent recognition. From Inder a hug to all of them on this Educator's Day," the executive wrote through the social network X.

Inder's official profile recalled a historic sentence by Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz: "Without education, there really can be no Revolution. And the Revolution will achieve so much more progress and so much more success, the more it works in the field of education".

The Cuban Olympic Committee stated on its Facebook page that "our work is forged by educators in every sense of the word. Thanks to this exemplary teaching, Cuban sport has reached the highest national and international levels. On Educator's Day, many congratulations to all Cuban teachers, especially to those in the field of sports.

The Cuban Baseball Federation joined in the celebration from X, noting its "special recognition to those who contribute to Cuban baseball from the essential work of teaching, as continuators of those who have become symbols in that field".
