Havana, January 3 (RHC) - Three Cuban athletics glories have passed away in recent days, mourning this discipline in the country and the Cuban sports movement.

Owner of a great explosiveness and a phenomenal start, Lara was an Olympic finalist in the 100 and 200 meters in the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games and is considered one of the best sprinters in the history of Cuban athletics.

With great sorrow for the irreparable losses, our radio station conveys condolences to the families of the deceased and to the Cuban athletics family.
