Havana, May 30 (JIT).- Vegueros de Pinar del Río obtained their 40th victory in the 63rd National Baseball Series, by winning their home stadium at the Capitán San Luis stadium over Cienfuegos with a score of 11x4.

Key to that success was the 14th home run by former major leaguer Alexei Ramírez, who hit 3-for-4 in the game and drove in three runs. In addition, slugger William Saavedra contributed to the cause by going 2 for 4 and sending a couple of teammates to the plate.
