Havana, Oct. 30 (JIT) - In a pioneering move that promises to transform the panorama of the sport, the Pan American Taekwondo Union (PATU) announced the celebration of the first Pan American Championship in Virtual Reality.
This groundbreaking event will take place in April next year in Querétaro, Mexico, and marks a significant milestone in moving the sport into an immersive digital environment.
PATU follows in the footsteps of World Taekwondo, which plans to hold the first world competition of its kind in Singapore next November 16-17. This trend reflects the growing global interest in digital sports experiences, where technology merges with sport to offer new opportunities.
