Mexico City, December 27 (RHC)-- Six days after the explosion of the San Pablito market in Tultepec, the attorney general's office said it is still analyzing the shocking videos from the blast in order to know what could have caused the tragedy.  The possibility that the fire was induced has not been ruled out.

The government of the State of Mexico has announced it will give compensation to each of the firework artisans who lost their merchandise and will also give compensations to the victims' relatives.

Dozens of peoples remain in critical condition at hospitals, including a group of children who suffered burns to more than 90 percent of their bodies.  They have being sent to the U.S. city of Galveston, Texas, for specialized treatment.

Tultepec, about 25 miles from Mexico City, is known for its pyrotechnics industry, with nearly 20 percent of its 151,000 residents having some connection to pyrotechnics production.

On Christmas Day, thousands of residents poured into the streets of Tultepec and sent thousands of white balloons to the sky as a tribute to those who died, most of them humble people who see their only income in fireworks production.
