Santiago de Chile, October 19 (RHC)-- Chilean President Sebastinan Piñera has announced that he is suspending the controversial subway fare increase after one week of intense protests against the measure.
The Chilean government has also declared a curfew for Santiago de Chile, from 2200 to 0700 hours.
