Caracas, May 8 (RHC)-- The Venezuelan Minister of Communications, Jorge Rodriguez, revealed details about the contract -- signed by Juan Guaidó and others -- to attack Venezuela and overthrow the legitimate president Nicolas Maduro.
During the press conference in Caracas, Rodriguez said that never before had there been such an event in Venezuela -- "that a group of people guided by their greed for money and unlimited hatred signed a contract to incur not only the repeal of the Constitution, but to support the invasion and assassination of President Maduro."
According to Silvercorp's contracts, if they succeeded in assassinating the president and destroying economic spaces, Goudreau would receive a $10 million bonus. It was stipulated that the Silvercorp forces would remain as occupying force in Venezuela, taking over the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) and the country's National Police, in addition to assisting in the installation of the Juan Guaidó government.
Jorge Rodríguez stressed that at this point "we cannot be surprised at how they were able to form a role in ordering the assassination of the president, of Diosdado Cabello, as well as the military and political high command, in addition to repealing the Constitution and Fanb, and subordinating Goudreau's designs."
The duration of the contract provided for the raiders to become a supranational force that would control the entire country. In this way, Goudreau would be "the boss" of all the Venezuelan armed forces, said Minister Rodríguez. Similarly, the contract established the suspension of basic services such as communications and electricity.
The tactical group would declare the national security forces hostile and intended to "neutralize" them and designate any civilian person as "terrorist."
With regard to the use of weapons -- written into the contract signed by Juan Guaidó and others -- the use of mines was permitted, and in the control of demonstrations, the use of force would be applicable, as would the use of force, including lethal force.
Accordingly, contractor personnel could enter or leave Venezuela without passports or identification, only the Silvercorp insignia. Contractor Goudreau would be authorized to carry firearms while on duty. "This is a detailed document about death, murder, violence and corruption," Rodríguez said.
Likewise, the chain of command for this operation was established as Commander in Chief to Juan Guaidó, general supervisor of the project to Sergio Vergara, head of strategy to Juan Jose Rendón.
According to the contract, the Republic's democratic institutions and established powers will disappear, leaving the country "in the hands of these four criminals with a foreign military force under contract, which is the case of Silvercorp," Rodríguez said.
The official warned of the complicity of the Government of Iván Duque in the development of military camps, in the attempts to assassinate President Nicolás Maduro and in the financing of the camps in Río Hacha directed by Alcalá.
In conclusion, Rodríguez said that Venezuela will go to the United Nations, the UN Security Council and other international organizations "because it is not possible that Duque will allow the training of terrorists in Colombia for the aggression against Venezuela."
"This contract will go down in history as the most infamous action that a person will ever perpetrate against his own country, it has never happened before in the history of humanity. And look at how there have been traitors in the history of Venezuela. But no one has ever dared to do as much as Juan Guaidó," he concluded.
