Caracas, July 9 (RHC)-- The president of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, announced on Thursday through the social network Twitter that after taking the COVID-19 test, he tested positive.
"Dear comrades, I inform you that after taking the corresponding tests, I have tested positive for COVID-19. I am now in isolation, complying with the indicated treatment. Thanks for your good wishes, with morale high. We will win," he said through his Twitter account.
Also, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro informed that the governor of Zulia state had some health problems and invited him to stop his activities and have a coronavirus test, which was also positive.
In Venezuela, they are taking strict measures to control the pandemic, including encircling the country to carry out more active research and obliging the authorities and families to carry out periodic hygienization.
The deployment to sustain the epidemiological fence in each of its aspects implies the action of many simultaneous and coordinated actors. The institutions involved are the Ministry of Health, the Police, the Mayor's Office of Caracas, the political organization, mainly the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), and the different social organizations of the territory.
