Category 4 Hurricane Eta slams in Honduras and Nicaragua.
Managua, November 4 (RHC)-- Hurricane Eta has brought catastrophic damage to the Atlantic coast of Nicaragua and Honduras with heavy rain and winds triggering inland flooding and landslides.
Eta is the 28th named storm of 2020’s record-breaking Atlantic hurricane season — and one of the strongest storms to hit Central America since Hurricane Mitch killed thousands of people two decades ago.
