The Bolivarian leader that in spite of the international blockade and the sanctions imposed by the United States and its allies, his government has made efforts to guarantee the welfare of the Venezuelan people.
"The imposition of more than 450 unilateral and illegal coercive measures have resulted in a blockade and persecution against the capacities of the Venezuelan State and society."

In this sense, Nicolas Maduro denounced that his country has been deprived of at least 30 billion dollars that could have been used for the care of Venezuelans.
