Peruvian President Pedro Castillo rejected this Sunday the destabilizing attempts despite his commitment with the citizenship in favor of the socioeconomic progress in the Andean nation.

Lima, November 22 (RHC)-- Peruvian President Pedro Castillo rejected this Sunday the destabilizing attempts despite his commitment with the citizenship in favor of the socioeconomic progress in the Andean nation.

In the framework of the inauguration of a wind farm project in Duna and Huambos, Cajamarca, the Peruvian president highlighted the way in which his adversaries, who are in the minority, try to impose their criteria and cover up the actions that his government has carried out in pursuit of economic progress.

"It is something unprecedented.  It is something curious what is happening in the country; that when we want to recover resources, when we want to deliver major works to the homeland, they want to silence us some people who are elected with 2,000 or 3,000 votes," stressed the head of state.

The president said that "political noise often prevents the people from knowing what we are doing," but that his administration will continue to work hard because it has been chosen by the Peruvian people.

The declarations come after the right-wing legislator of the Avanza País party, Patricia Chirinos, presented a motion to dismiss the elected president of Peru, alleging moral incapacity.

This new destabilizing action is added to others against President Castillo, who recently completed 100 days at the helm of the Peruvian executive power and has denounced on several occasions these facts against his democratically elected government.
