New York, February 16 (RHC)-- In the U.S., Donald Trump’s longtime accounting firm has broken ties with the Trump Organization, saying a decade of financial statements should “no longer be relied upon.”
Newly revealed court documents show the accounting firm Mazars said it would no longer act as Trump’s accountant, citing a conflict of interest. This comes as New York Attorney General Letitia James is investigating whether the Trump Organization inflated the values of its properties to obtain loans and then reduced them to evade taxes.
