Foreign ministers of Russia and Türkiye start talks in Ankara
Havana, April 7 (RHC) The foreign ministers of Russia and Türkiye, Sergei Lavrov and Mevlut Cavusoglu, are planning a meeting this Friday at the presidential palace in Ankara, the official website of the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
The foreign agency added that the Russian minister will discuss in detail with his Turkish counterpart energy issues, the situation around Ukraine, the application of the agreement for the export of grain, as well as the normalization tasks of the situation in the Nagorny region. Another issue that both heads of diplomacy will address will be the prospect of a dialogue between Ankara and Damascus.
The Russian diplomatic department previously announced that, ahead of the upcoming tourist season, Lavrov and Cavusoglu will not put aside "issues regarding the security of Russians in Turkey." (Source: Prensa Latina)
