Unity of the resistance to defend Palestine is reaffirmed in Lebanon

Havana, April 12 (RHC) - Political and religious personalities from the so-called axis of resistance reaffirmed this Wednesday in Lebanon the unity and capabilities to defend the cause of the Palestinian people.

Under the title "Al Quds Shield: The West Bank towards a new era", the political meeting highlighted the possibilities and willingness of the fighting factions to face Israel's crimes.

The head of the Hezbollah Executive Council, Hashem Safieddine, stated that the resistance fighters are united today by a single goal: to end the Zionist regime as an entity and vision.

He indicated that the only way is armed struggle until the liberation of Jerusalem and in this sense, he ratified the commitment and the will to face this conflict "that apparently the Israelis with their conduct are more in a hurry to reach it".

Safieddine alerted the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, that before any step in this direction, the resistance's response will be ready in all scenarios.

For his part, Iran's ambassador here, Mojtaba Amani, stressed that the only option to confront this brutal Zionist entity is resistance and that one of the principles of Tehran's policy is to support the Palestinian people and their cause. At the same time, Amani stated that injustice cannot last and history has confirmed it.

At the meeting, the Secretary General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command, Talal Naji, assured that Al-Quds Day represents a good tree that will continue to grow until Jerusalem is liberated.

Naji highlighted Iranian support for Palestine and the importance of the martyred commander Qasem Suleimani in the development of fighting movements and their missile capabilities and empowerment to defend Palestinian land.

The International Day of Al Quds, established in August 1979 by the leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Iman Khomeini, is commemorated every year on the last Friday of the holy of Ramadan, the ninth month of the lunar calendar, characterized by Muslim fasting in all the planet.
