Saint John, June 12 (RHC)-- The Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Gaston Browne, rejected the declarations about Venezuela, made by the former president of the United States, Donald Trump.  The former president and now Republican front-runner for another residency at the White House, made the slanderous comments about Venezuela during a speech delivered at a campaign rally in the U.S. state of North Carolina.

"As U.S. president, he threatened a "military option" and an armed intervention against the brotherly Venezuelan people.   And now Trump, in his political campaign, admits that he failed in his plan to overthrow our brother (Venezuelan President) Nicolás Maduro.

"He regrets that his country has to pay for Venezuela's oil and confirms that all U.S. operations and interventions in the name of freedom and democracy in the world are to plunder natural resources of free peoples," said the prime minister of Antigua and Barbuda.

Prime Minister Gaston Browne went on to say that Trump's confession, "coincides with the Southern Command threatening to take over Latin America's fresh water and lithium. In its decadence, the Empire acts desperately to plunder sovereign countries."

In the speech delivered at a campaign rally, Trump complained that due to the fact that he did not achieve his goal, the United States was now forced to buy oil from Venezuela.
