Caracas, July 9 (RHC)-- The news multiplatform teleSUR received a recognition during the XIV edition of the Aníbal Nazoa Award that was delivered in Venezuela.
In the context of the Journalist's Day, which is celebrated every June 27th in the country, the recognition was given to teleSUR for the work performed in these 18 years.
"The Necessary Journalism Movement recognizes and applauds, in this new anniversary, its constant presence in the region, its programming, its analysis and reflections, its exchanges between countries, regions and continents and, especially, the high quality of its team of workers", refers the special mention.
The president of teleSUR, journalist Patricia Villegas, emphasized that "it is a recognition of everyone, everywhere. The founders of the multimedia received the diploma in an act that filled us with joy."
At the ceremony, the Necessary Journalism Movement Foundation awarded several alternative and community communicators, as well as audiovisual and digital media.
