Caracas, January 26 (RHC)-- Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez met on Thursday with heads of missions of European Union (EU) countries in Caracas, with the purpose of advancing in the restoration of political relations and the review of the map of joint cooperation.
The meeting held at the headquarters of the Executive Vice-Presidency was attended by plenipotentiary ambassadors, diplomats, heads of business and representatives of diplomacy residing or not in the Bolivarian nation that belong to the nations that make up the EU.
Also present was the head of the EU accredited in Caracas, Rachel Roumet, in a meeting that obeys the agenda of continuity of an agenda of activities developed by the European diplomats in Venezuela, initiated the day before at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The visit of the European representatives is propitious for the review of other joint work agendas, at the same time that it will allow the authorities of the South American nation to present official information in areas such as economy, society, politics and elections.
The purpose is to comply with the Barbados Agreements signed last October.
