Caracas, May 28 (RHC)-- In Venezuela, local media reports reveal that a document dated 2018 was leaked in which Venezuelan opposition figure María Corina Machado requested support from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for a possible military intervention in Venezuela.

The letter, also addressed to former Argentinian President Mauricio Macri, who was known for his stance against Venezuela, asks both of them to use their power and influence to combat the Venezuelan government.

Likewise, the letter criticizes the alliance between Venezuela and Iran, claiming that it represents a threat to Israel.  In a show of closeness to Zionism, in July 2020, Maria Corina Machado signed a collaboration agreement with the Likud party, led by Netanyahu, despite its history of violence against Palestine.
