Ramallah, January 1 (RHC)-- Dr Sara Al-Saqqa, a Palestinian surgeon and staffer at the UN’s humanitarian agency, OCHA, says Israel’s siege of the northern parts of the enclave as well as attacks on hospitals there are familiar tactics.
“This is a pattern that we have been seeing over and over for the past 14 months. Areas become besieged for a while with no access to humanitarian, with no access to healthcare, and no access to food or, medical supplies,” said Al-Saqqa.
“We should be able to rehabilitate hospitals and support the healthcare system,” she added.
