In the audio, the executive director of AIPAC, a US-Israel lobby, describes the organization's privileged access to Secretary of State Marco Rubio; Director of Homeland Security Mike Waltz; and CIA Director John Ratcliffe.
Washington, April 12 (RHC)-- Senior officials in President Donald Trump's administration and the influence of pro-Israel organizations like AIPAC were exposed in a leaked audio obtained by The Grayzone.
The executive director of AIPAC, “a U.S. lobbying group that works in the U.S. Congress and the White House to maintain a close relationship between Israel and the United States,” described in the audio the privileged access the organization he leads has with Secretary of State Marco Rubio; Director of Homeland Security Mike Waltz; and CIA Director John Ratcliffe.
Brandt asserts that “AIPAC groomed these officials during their congressional campaigns, where they relied on funding from pro-Israeli donors to ensure their alignment with the political agenda” of the Israeli regime.
"The channels of communication are good when it's necessary to access internal conversations," Brandt emphasized, also indicating that the "previous allegations about lobby pressure on Capitol Hill" are true.
The audio was generated in the context of the extraordinary meeting of Congress, which was held with strict security precautions. The leak of the audio exposes the organization's systematic influence in the centers of power, thus enabling the weighing of Tel Aviv's interests in Washington's agenda.
