Mexico City, November 3 (RHC-PL) --Students from the Inter-University Assembly, representing several institutions of Mexican higher education, called for a national strike on Wednesday, November 5th to demand that authorities find the missing students.
More than 2,500 youths marched from Unidad Zacatenco, the National Polytechnic Institute, to the Secretariat of the Interior, where the call, previously broadcast by the National Autonomous University (UNAM) and the Metropolitan Autonomous University (UAM), was made on Friday outside that government institution.
Due to violent events in Iguala, in the state of Guerrero, on September 26th, six people were killed, 25 were wounded and 43 students from Ayotzinapa are missing.
Relatives of the students, supported by the student's movement, the people and international organizations and figures, are demanding justice and the return of the youths alive.
