Havana, June 23 (RHC)-- Peace talks between representatives of the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia-People's Army (FARC-EP) continue in Havana, as part of the 38th round of negotiations to put an end to the long-standing armed conflict in the South American country.
A communique issued Monday by FARC-EP rejects recent statements by the government's High Commissioner for Peace Sergio Jaramillo on the issue of refugees and the internally displaced as a consequence of the war.
FARC-EP denounced that the government representative broke a previous commitment to mutual respect, while also ruling out any possibility for new plans and programs that favor some kind of reparation or compensation to the victims.
