Moscow, October 6 (RHC)-- The Russian army has denied accusations that it has hit the ancient city of Palmira in Syria. According to the Russian military's spokesperson, General Igor Konachenkov, the reports that air strikes targetted Palmira are “totally false.”
Konachenkov added that Russia's aviation has not attacked local residents, “and much less if there are architectural monuments.”
