Bogota, December 30 (RHC)-- Colombia has declared a 'red alert' for the forest fires burning across the Andes mountains.
The Colombian Environmental Ministry says the forest fires are a consequence of drought and rising temperatures across Colombia.
The 'red alert' applies to 80 percent of the country.
