Caracas, February 18 (RHC)-- The Socialist United Party of Venezuela (PSUV) has issued a press release expressing support for the new economic measures that President Nicolás Maduro has announced.

The set of six measures, were designed to overcome the current national economic situation and stimulate the construction of a productive economic model, the document explains.

The guidelines are: food and distribution services, new systems to establish prices, a balanced table of prices for gasoline, a system to attract, invest and manage the national hard currency, a reinforced protection program covering employment, salaries and pensions, and the tax revolution plan to keep generating and attracting wealth.

Through the release, the PSUV announced a national deployment to inform and explain the extent of the measures, and to protect them from imperialist instruments of distortion.
