Caracas, Feb 23 (RHC) The President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, has repeated his call on workers to consolidate national economic independence and build a new production model.
In his address from Ana María Campos Petrochemical Complex in Zulia, West Venezuela, Maduro voiced the need to gain economic independence as grounds for a new productive system of public enterprise.
President Maduro said public enterprise is to adopt the legacy from the historic leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez, because Chavez rescued and delivered to the people many industries that Venezuela's capitalist sector had neglected.
