Zamora Chinchipe, Ecuador, March 3 (RHC)-- On Thursday, Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa visited strategic mining projects in Zamora Chinchipe province, in the country's Amazon region, where he inaugurated new Judiciary and Provincial Court venues.
President Correa toured the Fruta del Norte mine, whose reserves were calculated at 9.8 million ounces of Gold, and 15 million ounces of Silver, as well as the accesses and bridges needed to begin extraction.
