Brussels, Mar 22 (RHC) The terrorist Islamic State group issued a communique claiming the twin attacks on Tuesday in Zaventem airport and Maalbeek and Schuman subways, in Brussels, leaving so far 26 deaths and 135 wounded, and threatened new attacks across Europe.

The attacks in Brussels occur three days after the Police arrested Jihad member  Salah Abdeslam, one of the perpetrators from the November 13, 2015 bombings in Paris, that left 130 fatal victims.

French President, François Hollande, said there are many more people involved in the attacks in Paris, compared to the initial estimates, adding that France “will demand Abdeslam's extradition.”

A source of Belgium's prosecution assures they have made five arrests during the operatives in Brussels, and have deployed more than 200 military and shut down its transportation grid, busses and streetcars included; as Spain, Britain, Germany and France join the warning and stepped up security control in airports and land transportation terminals.
