London, June 4 (RHC)-- British Prime Minister David Cameron has said he would work with U.S. presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump if elected.  Cameron made the remarks during an interview with ITV's "Good Morning Britain" on Friday when asked about his opinion on Trump and whether he could have an amicable relationship with the business mogul should he become president.

Asked about Trump's take on immigration law and his promise to ban Muslims from going to the United States, Cameron said such a policy is “dangerous and unfair.”  Cameron has previously said that barring Muslims from entering the U.S. “is divisive, stupid and wrong.”

Donald Trump is slated to visit Britain on June 24th, the day after the European Union referendum is held on whether the UK should remain a member of the EU.  His business trip is apparently aimed at reopening a golf course he owns in Scotland, but the timing of the visit is significant.
