Havana, January 23 (RHC)-- The 15th edition of the International Teaching Congress 'Pedagogy 2017' will take place from January 30 to February 3 at Havana's Convention Center, sponsored by regional and international organizations linked to education.

The event will promote exchanges of information and experience among Cuban and foreign professionals toward achieving a quality education for all that is equitable, inclusive, and pertinent.

Topics for discussion include challenges and perspectives in education, the influence of National Hero José Martí and revolutionary leader Fidel Castro in Cuban education, as well as other public policies in sectors like science, technology and innovation toward sustainable development.

The program also includes visits to cultural institutions, educational and scientific centers in Havana, as well as an associated fair and exhibition, with specialized Cuban and foreign companies exhibiting and marketing their productions and services.
