Venezuela-Cuba Enterprise Meeting Starts in Caracas

Caracas, Mar 14 (RHC-PL)-- Since Tuesday and until Friday, Caracas is the host of the Venezuela-Cuba Enterprise Meeting, wanting to strengthen bilateral trade and foster the economic agenda of Venezuela.

The Cuban delegation is headed by Orlando Hernandez, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba, with its members to join the debates on new ways to strengthen trade, with 200 Venezuelan entrepreneurs.

The meeting is sponsored by FEDE Industria, an organization that groups businessmen who represent micro, small and medium-sized Venezuelan industries.

Before starting the meeting, the president Orlando Camacho, told the press that representatives of tourism, food production, chemicals, lubricants, electromechanical, and others would attend.

Camacho also said that these businessmen will offer their products within an agreement framed to look for solutions that would allow Venezuela to contribute to Cuba, while at the same time earning hard currency for the national economy.

He added that the meeting will produce the working guidelines for Cuban and Venezuelan businessmen, and ultimately, the agreements will be able to decide what the export intentions will be.

In turn, the Cuban part will present the investment potential at the Mariel Special Development Zone.
