Madrid, April 17 (RHC)-- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez has arrived in Spain for a two-day official visit.  Prensa Latina reports that Cuba's top diplomat will met with the head of the Spanish government, Mariano Rajoy, in the Palacio de La Moncloa, and will be received by King Felipe VI at the Palacio de la Zarzuela, the official residence of the Royal Family.

During his stay in Madrid, Bruno Rodriguez will also met with his Spanish counterpart, Foreign Minister Alfonso Dastis.  The two last spoke in Brussels in December, following the signing of an agreement on dialogue and cooperation between Cuba and the European Union.

In February, Fernando Garcia Casas, the Director of the Secretary-General Cabinet of the Ibero-American General Secretariat, traveled to Havana and met with representatives of the Cuban government.  García Casas met with Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on that occasion and analysed the state of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Spain is the first stop on a European tour that will also take Cuba's top diplomat to Portugal and Greece.
