Havana, December 13 (RHC) The president of Mozambique, Felipe Nyusi, has expressed the interest of his Government to increase collaboration with Cuba in the fields of health, education, agriculture, tourism and culture.
Nyusi thanked the multifaceted contribution that the Caribbean nation offers to his country, in a solemn audience at the Presidential Palace to welcome the new Cuban ambassador in Maputo, Pavel Díaz Hernández, according to the website of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, Cubaminrex.
During the meeting in which Díaz Hernández presented his Credentials, the Mozambican leader referred to the historical ties of brotherhood that unite the peoples and governments of both countries.
According to Cubaminrex, the Cuban diplomat conveyed to Nyusi a cordial greeting from Army General Raul Castro, President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba.
He also reiterated the Cuban government's commitment to further deepen the friendship and cooperation ties between Cuba and Mozambique, keeping alive the legacy of brotherhood professed by their historical leaders. Fidel Castro and Samora Machel.
