Havana, July 17 (RH--Cuban Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rogelio Sierra, met on Wednesday with the Secretary of State for Portuguese Communities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Portugal, José Luís Carneiro, who is on an official visit in Cuba.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the positive status of bilateral relations and reiterated the will to strengthen political-diplomatic ties and to diversify economic, commercial, cooperation and cultural exchanges.
The Cuban diplomat thanked Portugal for its contribution to the development of a constructive and respectful relationship between Cuba and the European Union.
