Tokyo, October 22 (RHC)-- In the presence of Roberto Morales, vice-president of the Cuban Council of Ministers, a cultural evening was held in Tokyo on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Japan.
According to the Cuban Embassy in the Asian country, a broad representation of authorities from the Japanese government, the political, economic and commercial sectors, among others, was present at the celebration.
In social media, the Cuban Embassy posted that the Japanese Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Keisuke Suzuki recognized and appreciated the long friendship between the two countries, and expressed the hope for their continued strengthening.
On behalf of the Cuban Government, the ambassador of the island Carlos Pereira Hernández stressed that the will persists on both sides to deepen bilateral ties, for the benefit of both peoples and considering the challenges and shared interests.
